1963 to 2005

     From the personal observation of Mrs. Gladys Chinn, who was a full-time resident of Higgins Lake from 1963 until her passing in January 2005 at the age of 96. Mrs. Chinn owned property on the lake since 1929 and was an unofficial historian of Higgins Lake. She charted weather and water conditions with such accuracy that the National Weather Service consulted with her many times to verify their records.
