Environmental Committee
Serve as a point of contact on environmental issues affecting Higgins Lake
Guide use of dedicated funds for environmental initiatives benefiting riparian owners and public users
Coordinate and support programs that protect water quality
Riparian Committee
Protect and advocate for the riparian rights of Higgins Lake property owners
Educate members on relevant laws, ordinances, and court rulings
Monitor and respond to shoreline use and access issues
Communications & Membership Committee
Engage and inform current and prospective HLPOA members
Promote awareness of HLPOA’s mission, work, and impact
Support membership growth, retention, and community participation
Higgins Lake Swimmers Itch Organization(HLSIO) - Board Liason
Address swimmer’s itch through research, monitoring, and education
Support science-based mitigation and long-term solutions
Reduce impacts on lake users while protecting lake health
Political Action Committee(PAC
Monitor public policy and governmental actions affecting Higgins Lake

Advocate for responsible governance, lake health, and riparian rights
Finance Committee
Serve as a point of contact for HLPOA financial matter
Prepare and oversee the annual budget and financial reporting
Monitor financial activities and maintain sound financial controls
Provide transparent financial information to the Board and membership
